When you get a chance please. I always thought 57er's had a catch plate underneath. They have red enameled ones too?

1957 type, but not the example of exactly 1957.

To me, those two red colours looks pretty close to each other.

Hi chaps,

I would not attribute this piece as "reworked 57er" ... I have not come across this hardware on any 57er DKiG, early or modern.
IMO just a fake = copy of wartime DKiG ... my two cents.
