Looks like a fake case to me, what is the base and the upper lining made of?

The more I look at the base the more it looks like foam, not bad I guess to protect an EK, you can get cases brand new for around the same price from here:

We have talked about plastic bags being bad for awards. A case like this with foam, nylon and God knows what other agresive materials used, would it not be bad to the awards ?
