    EK2 Schickle - Discussion

    Hi guys,
I've already imagined in my EK http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...=528823&page=2.
I would like to discuss with you my unmarked Schickle EK.
    Dimension: 44.8 mm x 44.8 mm x 4mm
    Weight: 20.28 grams
The green color is stained on the frame at the front.
It's just struck me that the grinding marks is at the edge.
    The outer frame is sharp.
I know other EK2 that the outer frame is not sharp.
I think the EK builder has sharpened my EK2
Who gave you one Schickle EK2? If yes, please give us the measure. Thank you!

    Best Regards,
    J0hnny

    Hi nice cross there .
The green is bad copper oxid . It was stored in a cool high hymidety area and the copper on the surface has oxidized . Try to brush it off ... not good for the surface .
The grind marks are normal on the side arm cutouts .

I do not think I have a Schickle ... have to go through my odd box .
Carefully remove the green 'waxy' build up .... not with a medal needle but if you can with a pointy thin piece of hard plastic ... it does not leave scratch marks like medal does .
Vorsichtig the wachsartige grüne Flecken mit einem spitzen Stúck hartem Plastik abkratzen ... da ein Metalgegenstand Kratzspuren hinterläßt .
