The little "darts" in the corners make me think Souval

            Clearly a Souval piece.

              Hi Dietrich,

I hope a good one? I´m always a little bit unsure with this Souval ones.
              It has a brass core.
              Best wishes

                Another Souval?

Rudy was a very busy man wasn't he?

IMHO a good one. A brass core points to early in the war. I don't habe a problem with it.

Sorry Joerg. I should explain my earlier comment.

I did not mean to imply that your cross was bad.
My comment refers to the many crosses with Souval frames
that seem to be popping up lately. As well as making his own crosses,
Rudolph must have been supplying frames to other makers as well.

He surely did! Otto Schickle is one prominent example.

                            Look for the green spots:

                            - typical corner
                            - low three
                            - narrow swastika
                            - rounded corners

The cross belongs to George. Hope he doesn't mind.
