Laurence, that is correct. For some unknown reason, Juncker made a dot under the 800 mark. Perhaps it was to indicate a government contracted piece as opposed as a retail replacement sales piece. I just never saw the 'dot' mark until today. The piece has tarnish, but appears to be excellent if I wanted to dip it in jewelry cleaner. I just leave things as I got them.

Duct tape can't fix stupid, but it can muffle the sound.
Truely stunning! The capture photos are great as well. Perhaps you could give us a brief story about how you acquired this, as someone said it is as interesting as the pieces themselves. I think that is alot of why many of us are here- the stories behind the pieces. Thanks
Thanks for that bit of information, the amount of knowlege I have glean since joining, and the willingness of people to share is truely remarkable. Pity the leaders of the world can't act like this. Congrats on the beautiful medal, and looking forward to aquiring my own RK
Very very nice indeed...and the photos are superb....thanks for posting.
Here is a picture of my 800 dot Junckers..yours is only the third one that I have ever seen. The current one in my collection, the one with the swords in Gordons book (also was in my collection) and now yours. Very nice to see indeed.
The one that I have at the moment was awarded to a stuka pilot.
I just realized I had forgotten to provide a decent photo of the other Knight's Cross. I believe it to be made by Steinhauer and it is NON IRON center.
Excellent crosses!!!
Tell me when you are going to sell the KC+OL set, please!
Haven´t you seen my dot marked cross, Chris? I have shown it here half a year ago or so.
