Very nice cross called the "Juncker Wide-Frame Schinkel" or JWFS.
I hope we don't get into a debate about if it is a Schinkel, or if it's not a Schinkel here (everyone can make up their own mind about what constitutes a Schinkel), or if it's a Juncker or if it's not a Juncker (I think it is but it's okay if you don't) but I have been asked a number of times by friends in recent months exactly how to identify one of these JWFS types. Here is a quick summary.
They all have the traditional Juncker qualities that every Juncker has:
- Jumpring lug
- Juncker "flared" shape
- cross-hatched frame corners
The JWFS also has these qualities:- The core is always non-magnetic
- The date design is very distinctive on the front
- There is no "crunch bead" used on the traditional Juncker frame
- There are webby flaws in the lower corners of the frame, always
