Yes, apinfully I see everything too late with my travels. Perhaps someday some collector may offer me a 3/4 eyelet Knight's Cross. I just have never been lucky enough or fast enough to bet the items I wanted from Detlev's updates.

I was on that 3/4 eye of Detlevs in 1.2 seconds, and after completing all details at land-speed records, clicked the unfortunately labeled 'SUBMIT' button instead of the 'ORDER' button.
Maybe this is a translation thing, but SUBMIT in my world means 'To Send', not erase everything I've just input so I can start again....
Needless to say........ 'sorry sold'
Anyone see a pattern emerging in my attempts to obtain a RARE one??

I think God is having you save your money for a REALLY rare one
. That 3/4 ring one was a heart breaker, and it was reasonably priced as well. Perhaps some Godet will come your way.

Agreed - that 3/4 eye was VERY cheap...I would have thought double the price...
Is there still a stigma attatched to these? OK, it wasn't mint, but you wouldn't want nor expect it to be....surelyComment
