    WW2 2nd Class Spang L/56 (?)

Wondering if this Spang is original or not; I have had it for a very long time and could never decide if I liked it or not. It looks slightly crude on the front; the original finish is mostly flaked off. It has flat attaching pins, which are folded over and soldered to the backside; the backside has heavy frosted paint, which is starting to flake off of the zink base metal. Any information or opinions will be very helpful.
    Thanks,
    Bill

It's a good one, IMO. (And rare, too.)

Interesting. Is it the Deumer pattern?

              George,
Thank you for your quick response and positive comments. Would you care to comment why this is a rare one?

Why is it rare? Well, you just don't find them too often.

It might be the photos, but I am not convinced about the first one in this thread.
                    George, I like yours.
I would really like to see some better photos of the first one, as I think the date bar seems a bit odd and so does the pebbling.

These two Spange showen here, they are, in my opinion, not the same.
The one that started this thread is not as nice detailed as the one George shows.
