Who can help -- awards and documents?

As part of an inheritance I got three German medals. Two seem to be KVK I and II, but the third one "Fuer Schlesien" in the shape of an eagle I don't know and cannot value. For the KVK's, I also have award documents signed by Keitel and A. H.
What is this "Fuer Schlesien" award all about, how old is it? And what do you think the KVK awards are worth to a serious collector?
    Thanks for your help, Ulrich

( As I don't seem to be able to attach photos to this message, please send me an email and I will send pics directly to you --> ulrich.lehmann@armacell.com )

I see no problems with the KVKs. Can you send a picture of the back of the "Schlesischer Adler"? But i think, its good as well. It is an award from the Weimar republic, i. e earlier than 1933.

                  Nice set

Hi Ulrich, welcome to the forum. That's a nice small set of medals and documents you have there. I'd pay a 150 euro for them, that's what they'd be worth for me. No idea what the Schlesien medal is though....

                    Dear all,

I think if Ulrich wants to sell his medals he should sell them through the estand. This is NOT the appropriate forum to sell items.

                    Best,
                    Pascal

I might note that because the fascsimile "signatures" on Treudienstkreuz and Spanienkreuz documents and this style large eagle KVK Urkunde comes up all the time, these were NOT "signed" by Hitler or Meissner. The "signatures" are printed.

There is thus NO "autograph" value, because these are NOT autographed.

The Silesian Eagle 1st Class (pinback_ was given for 6 months service with a unit from VI Armeekorps fighting along the Polish border between 1919 and 1921. The 2nd Class is on a yellow-white-yellow ribbon and was for 3 months service.

Rick is spot on. These are 'autopen' signatures not the real deal, can you see Adolf sitting down to sign KVK award docs?!! I think NOT!! Nice to go with the award but not worth much else.

                        cheers

                          Pascal -
I don't see anywhere that he wanted to; he asked what they'd be worth to a collector. I apologize if I gave the impression I was making an offer; on the contrary, I was just saying what I'd give for them. I'm by no means an expert on values, and what I said I'd be willing to give was just that - what I'd pay, should I have the opportunity. At the moment, I don't have the $$$ (or euro, or whatever) anyways. New tires for the car are due....

                          thanks, and all due respect,
                          Hank

                            Hi Pascal,

Ulrich stated in his mail, that he didnĀ“t want to sell these yet. He just want to get some opinions to his stuff.

                            best,

Can we see the reverse of the Silesian Eagle? What does it look like?

                              Thanks much!
