EK II 1939 1st type clasp

    Hi guys!

I am no expert with these repetition clasps and I know they are heavily faked.

I was offered this clasp, see pics. I believe it to be the so called 1st type which is scalloped. I personally like it, but I am not an expert when it comes to repetition clasps, so what do you guys say?

Seams to be what is called a 1st pattern ... can't say if authentic or not .

I have just started to study these , so I am going to question the stippling, it looks quite large, should it be finer than this?

It seems that it is trying to be a Juncker, but I do not see it as a 100% match.

            I like this one
there are very good fakes of these, and some I still can't work out
but this is of the type I do like
replaced prongs, but IMO everything else is OK
            regards

              thanks for the input guys!

I know the pics aren´t the best, I will try to take better pics and post them. It looks better in hand than on the pics.

I don't think the prongs are replaced, and I like this Spange too.

The upper prongs are sadly missing, the lower are intact, I checked.

Hey guys, is it safe to call this one a "Juncker"?

So a 2nd or reworked die with the short veins in the outer feathers?

My two 1st pattern juncker all have the long vein in the outer feathers, like this one I show here:
