W&L used 2 frame trimming tool sets . ... resulting in 2 very destinct humps .
A wide flat top hump and a almost round high hump . 2 identical frame dies with 1st and 2nd core .
The three minor supposed differences you have circled are either tricks of light, photography, or angle, yet the similarities are simply overwhelming between these two frames.
I also think that focusing obsessively on minute differences between one cross and another, and calling them different dies, is a problem in general in this hobby (or perhaps only on this forum). Not every tiny little difference is evidence of a different die.

I think you guys see dies in your sleep. Differences in wear, lighting and angles of the photos make the differences. You actually think these companies made 12 different dies for every cross?
