In the late 70s, a friend and I were in Idar oberstein and visited a small antiques dealer. Upon being asked if he had any "kriegsabzeichen", he pulled out a box of minty EKs which I assume were all 65s. Smart guys that we were, we only bought one each... and 2nd class.
