Actually, from these photos, it probably is an S&L, but of the type they would make "on special order" (i.e. available if you knew someone high up in the company) in the early 80's. It uses a late "C" frame (with unfinished ring) and the core has the date pattern seen on "2nd pattern" 1957 RK's from that company. Gordon Williamson showed one on GMIC and when he told in his book the story of a collector asking to buy an RK from S&L in the 80's, and then being asked by the company "with or without swastika?", this is the one he was referring to and which ended up being the one delivered.
