EKII on bow ribbon..

This came in today with a few other items. Found it interesting that the EKII was mounted on a ribbon styled into a bow and backwards. Ring is not maker marked so it would be nice if someone could tell maker of the EKII. Any ideas as to why it would have been mounted backwards?? Thanks, Mike

Thanks for the maker of the EKII. I find it amazing that you guys can look at a EK and determine who made it. I thought about it being mounted backwards due to post war wear but was not sure. Thanks again for the help. Mike
