EK2 Ribbon - Please opinion

Hi Guys,
I just introduced my new arrivals from EK2 unmarked Juncker. http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=519069
The Ribbon is thin than normal Ribbon
This is 26mm from the EK2 Juncker and normal Ribbon is 30mm.
26mm ribbon is a positive UV light.
Is 26mm ribbon rare?

no, the 25 mm was used for medal bars and ribbon bars.
The 30 mm is the standard size used from all manufacturers for EKIIs 1870, 1914 and 1939.
I don't know about 1813s because I 've ever had one.. kkkk

Hi,
Through my hands passed over than 20 and most Juncker EK2 ribbon where the state was comparable to the state of the cross were narrow ribbons. I also remember that in one of the Trevor's threads I also red about that.

well I can say that I bought a good number ok EKIIs from different manufacturers and some of them arrived with the 25 mm ribbon..
I think that it happens because actually there is still available a great number of original ribbons on the market (short, long, worn, full lenght and mint) and someone put them together.
Personally I got 8 Juncker EKIIs, just one of them has a 25 mm ribbon, I have no proofs that Juncker used normally that type (and actually I don't see why thety should have done) but I 'm interested to read the thread that probably I forgot.

I do not think that will ever be able to say that Juncker used a narrow ribbon , nor any other manufacturer unless someone finds a Juncker horde . I only know that the vendor before the sale of the Ribbon changes to normal because I look better. I think that in time of war if they ran out of ordinary ...

26mm ribbon is a positive UV light.

It´s never fun when a ribbon fails a blacklight test.

look at the stitching and quality. If a ribbon has been washed it will glow in dark.

25 mm are often found on Schinkel crosses.

I see no problem using 25 or 30 mm

I agree that the ribbon looks fine, but i treat all ribbons that glows like postwar-ribbons. Why chance? But maybe thats just me?

often.. maybe 10% ? we can make a search in WAF how many Schinkel EKIIs were showed in the last 6 months as statistic.

just because there are some examples with the 25 mm it is not as reliable IMO.

From all the Juncker EK2s I have .... 2 came with a 25mm ribbon > one with a regular piece of ribbon and a single parade mount orange 25mm ribbon .... and recently the bow type on a Godet EK2 - 25mm .
