    EK1 SB Deumer?

    Hi Guys,

    I need your help
Before I buy the EK1, which manufacturers include these EK1. I think this is Deumer.
How expensive is Ek1 if it is mint?

    Regards J0hnny

    It's a fake, the so-called Stuttgart Fake.

Oh, it's really a fake. I do not know. Thank you for your info.
How can I recognize it when it's a fake?

        No buying it please...

Disgusting Austrian fake. Very bulky in hand and have been around for many years now.

Actually this one is not the so-called "Austrian Fake" as far as I know.

It's been named the "Stuttgart Fake" by Daniel (Grueni), who saw it first at the Stuttgart show a handful of years ago. It's known in EK1 and EK2 versions.

Here is Daniel's excellent thread, also in German for you.

            Not Steiermark?

Hmmm. I had one just like this back in '92 and all I can say it was my 1st one, it was as thick as a brick and never quite grew on me. I didn't know it was a fake at the time and neither did the guy I ended up reselling it to.--That was before the internet my friends. Whether it originated from Stuttgart or Steiermark, it's a fake.
