Good one, I didn't think it could look so good!

I've never seen pictures of recipients with ones around their neck though. (except in "enemy at the gates" )

This photo is in my collection, of an award ceremony. Sorry about the quality, it was a rush resize.

But not only that, did you ever look here?

A very nice original cased RK....typical award style ribbon, and, even from the low rez pictures looks like a mid/late war example. Weights will confirm this...(can you tell us what it weighs ?). Many fear recognising originals of this award but good ones are of an unsurpassed quality.
A great example....take good care of it and congratulations !

Thanks guys, very happy with this, have weighed it, it came in at 42.5 g, which I think is slightly heavier than the quoted weight ranges, but could just be my scales. Definitely a later piece.

                      Really nice!

I always had a particular interest in the RK KVK mit schweiren since it was the award given to Heinrich Mueller, the Chief of the Gestapo.

Very nice piece indeed, could I be so rude as to ask how much you paid for this one? Don't see these pop up for sale too often so would just like to keep tabs on the going rates.

On the contrary, at that weight I would say its an mid/early one. It's nicely in the weight range so fear not !
Note the flaw on the mid point of the 3"....there are another couple of features too.
Nice to see. Thanks for posting

I was wondering who bought that one...I was considering it myself.
