Was just browsing the very good www.angloborewar.com site and came across it

It only says this about it

"Iron Cross and QSA to Alexander Von Stosch"

did find this thread on him

I have some doubts. For one thing the ribbons seem modern. The mounting is very sloppy, and neither in traditional Prussian nor English style. Also the EK2 is backwards -- not unknown, but if it was recently mounted, why? But the EK2 is good, anyway. I don't know about the other one.

A modern put together for sure as the QSA medal is also incorrect, it is damaged as is missing it suspender so a ring was added.

As well Von Stosch IC award was posthumous so he never wore it with the QSA.

The QSA is named and is in the possession of the poster in the link above as a single medal. Have not seen the naming myself but Stosch was on the roll for the medal.

Not sure it the QSA is Stosch?

I just thought it was neat to see a combo like this
