57 Knight Cross...Maker ???

hello, i bought this 57 dipping ring knight cross with a EK 2 ribbon. the center is magnetic, no stamp at the cross. can you say something about the maker ???

I would post this one in the 1957 forum, but I think it would be considered a "fake."

Yes, I know, there are no fake 1957er RKs. But this same type may be seen with a swastika core and an L/12 mark, etc. (I have one).

At a minimum, I don't find it collectible.

Sorry to say it is a Morigi "fake"
As Trevor says, technically there are no 57 fakes, but this is pretending to be an S&L 2nd pattern RK, which it clearly is'nt, so i call it a fake!!
These can be bought from Morigi who sells under the name "The Regalia Specialist"
