I do not know what price these sell for currently. I seem to recall silver award grade types selling for about that. I could well be wrong. That may be what dealers ask for them and they don't sell. While I know a few of you have commented on this cross’ authenticity already, where I’m now in possession of the grouping below, I thought I would try my hand at better photos.
While I know folks have a tendency to to say leave things alone, given the dark patina on the present piece, can I hear some feedback on whether cleaning this up a bit might not be an okay thing to do?

Thanx guys. This is my first and likely only Spanish Cross, unless I find one on the street, left behind by a homeless collector OR I'm able to locate a few of those "green shoots" the DC crowd tells us are effecting the economy.
I'm grateful I was able to stumble across, what I considered, a 'reasonable' one.
