A Bastard EKI?

I just got this little bugger. Not to sure I like it though...

The back is textbook Paul Maybauer, but the front seems to be S&L. Or is it just me, not being updated on the different cores used by Maybauer?

In my opinion this cross was probably made by maker 23.

It has a frame and backplate from maker 23.

It has a core used by 23 and also used by Meybauer.

It has a pin traditionally seen on Meybauer.
