Godet EK2 with horizontal ribbon and pin:

A recent addition for my Godets that came with a different type of ribbon mount and pin . Different from the normal ring luped version and the recently posted Austrian trifold types . Could not find any other EK2s like it but the style and ribbon set up simmular or very close to some Female RAD and Mother cross minis .
Looks like a wear set up for (formal/functions) civilian wear - now - worn by any gender ? - or just by female awardees ? I asume not awarded this way but altered afterwards .

I think on some photo I saw this kind of wear.. but that is just an opinion, it might be from some civilian custom style of wear after the war etc.

                Nice early Godet Douglas

I have heard this type of setup was worn by men on tuxedos.

Here is my early Godet, mounted:

One of the nicest EKs made in my opinion -- early Godet quality.
                Best regards,

                  Hi Douglas,

I like those seldom seen mountings. I have a similar Imperial setup with safety pin on the back.

                    Very very nice guys.

                    Hi Trevor
I agree, the finest EKII came from Godet.
I have another one, same assembling of your.

I have seen red cross nurses that have been awarded the EKII, so don't even pretend that's out of the question. I don't know if this is the style they would wear though.

                        Thanks guys .
Regardless who wore this then - it is a ribbon mount type for civil wear .
                        The Godet family .
