seller informs that this name-scrubbed ek1 was hand engraved w/no sign or rotary work. looks well-done and period to me, but 'scrubbers' are inherently suspicious despite being understandable for ss officers postwar.

Well, the engraving is a genuine engraving.
It is just not done prior to May 1945.

I am impressed how far the fakers go, in trying to make something looks believing.

I was trying to make a little joke.
That is a engraving, right? and if it is an engraving, then it is a real engraving...but not a "real one" in that way that it is done pre May 1945 by a LAH Member.
I am sorry if you thought that I was saying that it was done by the LAH memeber, but just on a fake cross!
