Here is an unmarked EK2 that comes with a nice long ribbon and issue paper (not shown). I like it but what do you think? Any red flags? Any clue to the maker?

I agree, a very nice 23.

I'm not sure about the core. Here is the 23 core (left) and two Meybauer cores used by 23 (right and center):



Which does it match?

Shape on number 3 of Meybauer is extreme than the 23 which is a bit more rounded. Differences are very little but they exist.
So definitely a 23 for me.
