Cased EK1 Opinions Please

I just came across this cased EK1 and would like opinions as to it's maker. Is it the same as the case maker? The back pin is not marked. There is a ding that I thought was a mark, but it is not.

I belive it is very nice EKI by Paul Maybauer as it is stamped on the needle vith mark '7' on fourth photo.

I see now that there is a shallow struck 7 near the dinged area. Thank you. Any idea of current value?

Standard price for an marked EK1 these days is €190. Standard for a case is about €125. So we're at about €315, or about $450, for a basic, starting price.

An EK1 would get more if it was either mint, or an uncommon or early type (Schinkel, Juncker, Schickle, Deschler, Godet, uncommon maker, non-magnetic etc.). A case with a maker's stamp like yours could get a bit more -- maybe another $30 or so.
