    Need help on "fake" EK2.

Hi Guys, I really need some expert opinion on this one.
I can buy a EK2 for $ 40. Only the seller has bad scans, made with a webcam i think.
The cross is labelled number 100.
Are there many fakes you know of using this number ?

Here are some pictures from the cross.
Remember these are very bad pictures...i hope you still can figure something out..

    Thanks Ron

Your right the scans are bad, and the paint looks odd but 100 did make EK's, I don't know of an influx of fake 100's.

I know that there are fake "100" EK2's out there along with 333, 16,& 113 bieng used quite a bit. But "100" is a makers number that produced wartime EK2's.

In my opinion always be wary of poeple who sell items using very poor pictures. An ebay classic is to use a fuzzy picture or a very distanced shot to sell. Why?? Possibly something to hide in my opinion.

Anything I put on ebay I put a clear detailed picture of but I can't ascertain either way for this one sorry.

          wow..those are bad scans...

If you decide to purchase, make sure you get a money back guarentee, noyt only on originality, but also on condition. Impossible to make a judgement either way with those dreadful scans.

            Fuggeddaboudit.

Get one from this guy instead. He has 'em all the time, 100% original items, and a forum member. If you don't go for this particular one, bookmark his seller list and look again later.

Just my 2 cents worth, but I like this guy.

              Hi Ron

If in doubt, don’t buy. Unless the seller is going to offer you a no questions asked money back assurance on this piece. Unless you are 100% happy with a piece don’t have it in your collection, otherwise there will always be that cloud hanging over your mind.
