    One more EK2 for the collection..

    Hello,
    I picked this up at a sale today with a packet, it is in great shape but unmarked.
    Can anyone identify the maker?.. thanks for your help.

            The packet was marked "Hermann Wernstein, Jena Lobstedt" , I posted the packet in the cases / packet forum and was said to be a fake... so I dont know.

              Hi Van, right enough, I did see the packet. I have to say I dont like these packets either.
              Sorry.
              Unfortunately I dont know the maker of your cross. Wait for some of the really experienced members on eks.

                    Early S&L iron cores were plated to protect them from rusting .
                    Seams yours was frosted ... able to tell if brushed or dipped ?

                      I am not sure how to tell if it is dipped or brushed, Ill take some close up shots of the sides and post them later this afternoon...
