    kvk screw back?

My friend owns this piece. It is unmarked and huge!
Its far bigger than any kvk I have and weighs 40g.
I cannot find much info on screw back kvk other than they were private purchase.
    Any thoughts appreciated

I'm leaning towards repro/fantasy, though this one appears to be a quality made piece.
This is yet another gray area of TR collecting, you will find some that say they flat out never existed, others say they did.
I bought a very nice example on ebay about 5 years ago, for $90 it was worth the chance. Was standard size though, and it had a threaded stud on the medal, if I recall correctly.
Never found out much about it, some guy fell in love with it and offered $150, which I declined, as I liked the piece period or not.
He offered $200, which was too much to resist at the time, so I sold it.

It was probably made from a photo or something by a faker who didn't have the correct dimensions on hand?
                Best regards,
