this set don't came together but it is 100% matching

- engraved L/13 SB EK1 from a luft officer, from the family of a known German actress
- "mint" LDO case marked L/13

Did LdO EKs come with outer cartons? I thought perhaps those were for awarded crosses only, but honestly I don't know.

The case & carton where found separately but I already observed & had other LDO crosses in cartons.
I ever asked me the same questions but never had a full confirmation as crosses can have been switched in time.

it will be interesting to know if some have cartoned crosses with 100% provenance
