Field made EKI

Hi Guys this one arrived here today as part of a collection. The pin set up is similar to what one normally sees with a LS medal. I would appreciate your thoughts on this. As always your time and feedback is greatly valued.

Hi Paul,

I think it's original. Looks like someone took real care in making this look like a proper EK1. The pin and catch setup looks like it was crafted by a guy who knew what he was doing in the field. I'm surprised that we don't see more of these but then again I'm sure units had plenty of originals with them at the front.

Yes, looking at it my 1st impression is that someone spent some time and care doing this. My gut is that it's original and some of you, I'm sure, have had more experience. I've only ever seen a few, is it similar to others?

I saw very similiar EK like this one and not K&Q like your, so I think there is more of them
