    EK2 Schinkel

This cross was in many forums recognized as excellent.
Have expertise in this cross. Nimans expertise.

    for exxample

Identify please, bad soldering is normal for this cross?
or is it the restoration or repair of the modern?

    thanks

You don't see the soldering or the big space between frame and core in the link you posted.
I think you are right in assuming this cross was opened and re-soldered.

Front and back look fine, but if you see it under an angle...

I would not want this in my collection.

The frame is deformed, but original.

I don't see anything wrong with the frame -- a typical Meybauer Schinkel frame.

The glossy paint is no problem either.

I'm not sure what the point of opening and resoldering this piece would have been, unless the core is not original. But the core seems fine and original, too.

I'm not sure I would buy this one myself, but I'm also not sure there's any real problems with it. I just don't know.
              Best regards,
