knights cross of the warmerit cross question

The cross I am thinking of buying, I have a few questions on. is 3500 usd a good price? it seems good to me in light of only 48 were known to have been awarded.
I feel and maybe I am wrong but that they should go up in price in the years to come, and by that I mean more than inflation.
I was looking for a knights cross of the iron cross but they are so expensive, then I ran acorss this one and thought that this might be a nice addition to my collection,
can some of the experts on these crosses take a look at this cross it is maker marked 1 and 900

This is a unissued medal, A little high in price, but still worth it .

every thing I have read about these thay should be priced at 8 to 9k, the book third reich millitaria shows that they should be at 8100 usd,
and that book is old it shows the rk of the iron cross at 3600,
it must be the low intrest in the item, but in time the price should come into line with the value,
I would like a rk of the iron corss but the price is a little steep for me,
at 8 to 9k, this would be a nice addtion of a very rare item.

Nothing to suggest that this isn't a good original piece. Price is only a little high against current market averages.

thanks for the help. I really want a rk of the iron corss but it alwasy seems a little out of my reach, dealers want 9 to 10k, I just cant seem to find one for 5 to 6k, this was a kind of stop gap. but I am thinking of just waiting it out and trying to run across one, I hate to settel for a lesser award when they are so expensive, this sight really helps cut out all the fake crap, and I do apprciate it much. thanks again.
