SB EKI unmarked (who is maker?)

Can anyone determine from these pics who the maker is on this unmarked SB EKI cross? I have an opportunity to buy this but not sure who the maker is. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Is this something that would have been created post war in the 40's or 50's or is this something more modern??

That's a very interesting question. My feeling is that these were made in the 1960s through the 1970s, but I'm not sure where I got that idea. Hopefully Dietrich or George know more details? In any event, they were made long after the war by an individual who had nothing to do with wartime Iron Cross production (read: a faker).

Thanks for the insight. I've heard the name mentioned before, but never really knew anything about him or his products. I'll definitely read up on him.
