EK1 Unknown Maker (Friedrich Sedlatze ?)

Hello,

According the "The Iron Cross 1.Class" book page 407 from DM & GS the EK1 is dedicated to Friedrich Sedlatzek.

But I'm not 100% sure, because the obverse looks like B. H. Mayer parts.
This EK1 has no "800" mark and the material does not look like Silver!

What is your opinion to this cross?

I don't think Sedlatzak made these, I think they had them made, or at least bought the parts .
