    Juncker Spanges

I just received another Juncker EKII spange and thought I had messed up and purchased a duplicate. But upon looking at it I found that it had veins on all the feathers, where my other one had veins only on the outter feathers. Is this what is referred to as the thick and thin veins? Thank you for your assistance. The right spange is also zinc. Jim

Hi Jim, lovely and rare spangen you have there
There were 2x 2nd pattern dies (known to me) you have both, full-veined, and half-veined

The 'fat-vein' die is what I referred to one of the 1st pattern dies
      regards
      jon

(I think I got that right?!)

It seems that the wing on one of these spanges tips more downwards then on the other?
What I mean, is what I am trying to show at this picture, using these two spanges, where I have tilted them both, and try to make the sit straight next to each other.

If you ever "mess up" again and buy another duplicate, you know where I am!
