        Thank you Trevor.

The cross (above) is a recent replacement for my first ever TR EK which (stupidly) sold here a few years ago. I have been looking for another ever since.
My first one (that I sold) had a heck of a lot more wear on the frame and beading - almost like the dies were worn out. I wonder was production continued on these post war? Then again, we would see a lot more of them if that were the case.
Here's the one I sold - note the really sloppy beading.

        Regards - Danny

          No problem.

I feel like collecting the last few unknown maker EK2s and researching them is the only part of 39EK2 collecting that really interests me at this moment.

Here are a few I would love to study in detail:

...and of course this one, made by Moritz Hausch in my opinion:

          Best regards,

            Interesting crosses those are .
Looking at the ones Danny70 and EK-Collector posted...... they sure look like the early Godet low bead count frame . The markings on the ribbon ring of the first cross allmost looks like to have a shallow struck " G " and is the '8' just a O struck struck twice - as found on mm 24s ?
Now that is just an idea ... can EK Collector have another look ?

              Douglas,

These crosses frames do indeed look very like the early frame Godet, but on closer inspection, they are not a match.
Here are some images comparing both types.

                  Hi Danny :
You are right ... close but not quit a match .
