EKI with EKII ring mark?

Hi Guys.
Found this EKI, and as you can see it has got a marking where the ring on a EKII should be. Is original? and if so who is the maker?
Maybe it is just a smart faker using the same frame for both models??

With that obverse design and reverse set-up, he can't be too smart of a faker.

Shape almost reminds me of a Schinkel B. Of course, the back hardware and date are WAAYYYYYYYYYY off, Schinkel B or a normal cross, doesn't matter! I agree with George, the faker, apparently, is not very smart
