Ribbon Bar

This spange uses a WWII ribbon with the EKI Spange attached to a WWI EKI. Shouldn't it have a WWI ribbon instead? Thanks for your help. Jim

Correct. Additionally the only attachment should be the spange and not the combination EK/Spange.

Gary is right and I do not think there should be mounted EK I spange aswell on EK II ribbon

The device is most likely a stick-pin that has been stuck on the ribbon bar...that or a fake device. The detail is not great on it.

I do not think such devices even existed pre-1945.
