I know you can never be sure of the assembly era of these pieces. It came from a private collection in the states, no provenance but I think worth the risk at the price I gave. I personally wouldn't rule it out due to the lack of top hook but I suppose one man's meat is another's poison. Thanks for the reply Jon.
