I have no reason to think this is anything but an original 1st class Spange by the Unknown Maker. It looks good in every regard. There are copies on the market that are thicker and heavier than originals (noticeably so), and they have fooled many. Their hardware is even similar. I've had (3) original spanges by this maker, and all weighed very close to 9.95 grams.
