Ubergrosse EK II with envelope !!

Today I received my first EK II with ubergrosse size. Very heavy in hand (Weight 23.6 g)

    Sizes are about 47mm x 47mm

Came with its envelope from Frank & Reif. There is name of the holder, but written by a pencil so it will same time to read this barelly visible text.

I am very proud of this wonderful and rare variant of my passion - EKs II.

Thank you for watching and I welcome any opinion.

Thanks belons to Daniel !!! I must only recommend him as a dealer of nice and high quality originals medals.

And for compare EK II schinkel Deumer (non-mag), Ubergrosse EK II and common EK II variant (Deumer marked L/11)

it was very hard to take a photo of this beuty, because its paiting is early one so it is like a mirror :/ I will rework it on the weekend, when I am going with my girlfriend to rephoto my collection. (she is very looking forward - almost)

      Hi Josef,
You have a very nice cross as usually. Is this shiny surface of the core normal for Frank Reif crosses or only for ubergrose ones?

          Thank you nick

Josef: I do not know because it is my first example from this maker. I think his crosses are not marked at all and quite rare, since after 2 years it is my first Frank

                Nice one

I think the paint are a bit more glossy than my examples..
                Here they are to compare:

Several years ago I obtained a Frank & Reif packeted Ubergrosse. There was a subsequent discussion here on the forum as to whether or not the packet and cross were, in fact, original to each other. The results from those who commented were inconclusive. As far as I can tell, we still don't know!

                  Regards,

                  Ed

I believe they go together, but you're right -- we still don't know.

                    Nice set Josef.
                    Best regards,

I can say that this cross came from a family and I'm pretty sure they were isssued together.

                        I really trust Daniel
Price was really nice for this set (even still high on this level of item)
So there is no point of adding some 10 euros worth envelope

                          Hi Josef,

That's a very nice set you've got there.
I haven't seen such a glossy core on an ubergroße before, is there any traces of any kind of oil on it?

                          Regards - Danny

P.S., I agree with you, I have purchased a few fine crosses from Daniel and have been very happy with his fine service.

I met this painting condition on more crosses so I think it is normal not some oil.. but who knows.

about Daniel you are absolutely right. He is unbelievable fair and very good person.
