    Well-worn one-piece ek1

    Beat-up 1-piece ek.
The screw has been soldered inside the disc, and a primitive anti-rotation "pin" (or blob) has been added.
It MAY have been re-painted, but the originals have the same glossy paint and the sloppy paint-job.

Still a nice cross with a lot of character IMO

        It's a nice one indeed !
I don't have proof, but I still think these were made by Deschler...

I like it. Here's a couple of threads on the type:

i wont have problems with the paint, Ben. But you can for sure evaluate more clearly as you have it in hands!

              greetings,

Stefan, it is hard to say if it is a re-paint.
The glossy paint looks the same as on my other crosses, but there is a lot of paint on the ribbing.
Which i, on the other hand, not really unusual either...
                    Odd one.....

look carefully in each corner for paintloss and another paint underneath.
The paint job is REALLY sloppy.
One may wonder what that depends on.
