First Class Iron Cross Spange

Hello,
I recently picked up some Badges and Medals from a WW 11 Vet who was in the North Nova Scotia Regiment in WW 11. This is not my field of collection so I know very little about them. It is in Very Good condition except the pin and catch are bent a little as shown. I just want to make sure it is the real deal before I sell it and approx value Please.

Not bent, that is the way the maker made the catch. It is a B.H.Mayer first class spange in very good condition. Jim
