Thanks to Michael, I am adding this Assmann to my Schinkel collection. I thought I had them all, but now know I don't, I think the only one missing now is the three piece Meybauer Schinkel. Jim

Hi Stefan,
The (very) short answer is that this piece matches (frame, reverse SB hardware on SB and pin on pinback, materials, and construction) with common Weimar-era 1914 EKs presumed to be made by Assmann.
This subject deserves a longer thread with all the evidence and illustrations. I hope some time soon I can start one.Best regards,
