Cross of Honor for Relatives of dead in Spain Question

Hi Folks I ask that you please provide some advice on this recent veteran purchase. I think this is a cased Cross of Honor for Relatives of the Dead in Spain. Unfortunately one of the eagles has been lost to time. Should I get this repaired or would that decrease the value. If I should have it repaired where is such a thing done? Thanks in advance for your advice

That´s a great find even with the damage!

I would not repair it. If you want to keep it, want to display it and absilutely feel you have to do something, I would get hold of a cheap repro of these, break/saw out one eagle and put it on your badge in a NON-PERMANENT and EASILY REMOVABLE way, just to make it display in a more nice way.
    Cheers, Frank
