Wow, what a story! Captain Nemo would roll over in his grave if he heard this one!
Even if it were in the Atlantic Ocean, it was in 1 of 2 places,
1)the beach where no doubt the very upset previous owner found himself so distraught with anger that he had been burnt by this junk that he pulled back his mighty arm and thus sentenced this piece to a frigid grave...
OR
2)Someone found it on a diving expedition which again begs the question of how it got down there. If it were real I could see some vet losing it on the way home or a UBoat crewman, Navy man, etc... But a fake badge spending some serious time in the Atlantic? Hrmmm. Maybe he meant that he found it at Sea-World.
