    Question regarding EK1 cases,

    Hello,can anyone tell me what metal the fittings (hinge and press stud) were made of on Third Reich EK1 cases.Were they of steel or brass,or were both metals used?And while on the subject could I ask the same question of Imperial EK1 cases?Many thanks,

      EK case metal fittings

      All of mine, (3 WWII, 2 WWI) are magnetic.

        I'mpretty sure both steel and brass were used on the catches and hinges of WW11 EK cases.
