Yes, certainly not even close. Was this sold to you by a dealer, or was this a private pruchase, as I would want to get your money back. I noticed that the Snyders Tresures guy has a number of these fake DKiGs with inscriptions. At least they put an award date that occurred after the DKiG was initiated.

That is a fake DKG with a fake inscription.

                    George,

The difference between pin and rivets are not because mine it is of the beginning of the war?

I have noticed a discrepenacy with a lot of these fakes as well. The Red enamel around the wreat on originals is redder than the one in question. The one listed at the top of this thread has a more Orange enamel around the wreath.

Everything about this cross is wrong for a zimmerman. The "1941" plate looks like a Godet/ Deschler hybrid. There are six rivets, which are solid, both of which never appeared on a zimmerman. The rivets look like an odd Godet attempt. The catch paticulary is off, as is the "20" stamp. The hinge from this angle approximates a junckers. This cross is not even close. The pictures George posted clearly show this.

                              Hi,

                              Still I am not convinced.

Evaluating the opinions of the friends and my opinion of 16 years of collection... I believe mine.

                              Thanks!

                              Ricardo.
