    EK2 mm25

Another new arrival, an EK2 marked 25 for Arbeitsgemeinschaft der Graveur, Hanau (no I did not know that one, I had to look it up!) . Comments gratefully received.

One thing is bothering me though, the width of the frame on the top arm is very uneven (see red arrows). Any comments?

Could you try to make new photos/scanns and this time not compressing them so hard. With a hard compression, details falls out and get blured.

Here is known fake marked 333.

          Cheers.

Thanks for the photos George. The swaz looks very similar to mine, it is tapered also. The numbers also look ok .
I have tried to measure the width of the flat piece on the edge of the frame. It is about 1mm or a little bit more although it is obviously difficult to measure it accurately. The top left one looks spot on 1mm but the top right one is closer to 2mm. Have you ever seen anything like this? Bad workmanship or sign of a fake? I got the cross from a "reliable" source but mistakes will happen I guess...I look forward to your comments.

Peter, thanks for the comment. I am aware of the problem but cannot seem to work it out. If I do not reduce the size, then the picture is rejected by the forum system. Any advice?

It is rejected if the photo is bigger than 700 pixels wide 750 pixels high.

                Cheers.
