    EKI L/12 Real or Fake?...

hi guys..this EKI is a real or Fake?

To me it looks like it has potential -- the shape is correct, I know this pin type on good L/12 EK1s, and the mark looks probably acceptable too. But really, we need a good shot of the front of the cross, to make a real determination. Nothing conclusive can be said from the one front photo you show.
    Best regards,

Very interesting LDO marked cross . The L/12 appears to be a good type . Better picture of the front is needed .

I can't stress enough the importance of this for anyone asking for a piece to be identified or authenticated.

Absolutely. Not sure why ANYONE would say this is good or text book without ONE picture of the front!!

The frame has separated so who the heck knows what the core is/was??

The core I would guess is from W&L .... looks like a short 1 in the 1939 date . The split frame wants me to see more of the solid edging elswhere .

The price is too high in my opinion but I think the cross is a good, late Juncker. The frame is what is (now) called the "typical L/12 frame".

I consider this a proprietary Juncker core. Can you please ask the seller if the core is magnetic?

I would say the same .... 1000.-$ for that frame ....too much . As to the core tempted to guess it is zink - we will see .
Would like to ask : any polishing/burnishing lines on the frame ??

The core is magnetic and it belonged t a luftwaffe mechanic who arrived to Chile in 1946. thanks for your kind answers!
